How Repostamos works

Repostamos reads the public fuel price file published by the Spanish Ministry for the Ecological Transition, the same one behind the official Hydrocarbons Geoportal, and re-reads it every 30 minutes. The last reading is from 19 Oct 2026 and covers 11,428 Spanish filling stations, of which 2,493 sell at least one alternative fuel.

For every station the site keeps the price, the tidied address, the declared opening hours and the coordinates; from those it works out the medians by province, municipality, brand and road. It uses the median rather than the average because four extreme prices move an average and do not move a median: half the stations fall below it and half above.

Prices in the Canary Islands, Ceuta and Melilla are shown separately in national rankings: fuel duty there works differently and mixing them would distort the comparison. Every figure on the site carries the time of its reading beside it, and no price is rounded.

Today’s prices, one by one

HVO: a median of 2.079 €/l across 1,618 stations in 50 provinces, ranging from 1.679 to 2.499 €/l.

LPG: 996 stations across 50 provinces, with a median of 1.125 €/l and prices from 0.781 to 1.290 €/l.

CNG: 97 stations across 30 provinces, with a median of 1.958 €/kg and prices from 1.299 to 2.199 €/kg.

LNG: a median of 1.809 €/kg across 52 stations in 26 provinces, ranging from 1.729 to 1.959 €/kg.

Hydrogen: 2 stations across 2 provinces, with a median of 17.450 €/kg and prices from 9.900 to 25.000 €/kg.

Renewable petrol: 31 stations across 6 provinces, with a median of 1.969 €/l and prices from 1.919 to 2.025 €/l.

AdBlue: 2,938 stations spread over 51 provinces; the median is 0.900 €/l, with prices from 0.499 to 3.413 €/l.

E85: 2 stations spread over 2 provinces; the median is 2.620 €/l, with prices from 2.239 to 3.000 €/l.

Biodiesel: a median of 1.699 €/l across 28 stations in 14 provinces, ranging from 1.649 to 2.089 €/l.
